GENERAL INFORMATION

Overall Purpose of Symposium
The purpose of symposium is to share our knowledge and experiences for gaining better insight into psychological trauma and associated psychological and social problems. It is expected that participants would share various social, psychological and cultural processes which arise from psychological traumas, and factors that lead to trauma, as well as to generate solutions against problems. One of the most important ways of providing such solutions with healthier structures is to strike a civilized balance between Middle East and Europe or, in general, between East and West. From this perspective, Istanbul stands out as one of the oldest cities of history and, so, we have no purpose and chance other than restoring Eastern and Western inspired psychological state of wellness and social peace here in this city.

Target Groups
Psychiatrists, psychologists, general medicine, forensic and public health specialists and specialists from other branches of medicine, and social workers, as well as human rights activists, nurses and other menthal health professionals
